Tree Care

With 34 years experience of selling Christmas trees in Gloucestershire, we can advice on how to ensure your tree stays fresh throughout the festivities.

Caring for your cut Christmas Tree

If you think of your Christmas Tree as a cut flower, you won't go wrong.

  1. Choose a stand or bucket that allows you to water the tree.
  2. Trim an inch off the base of the tree, so it can absorb water.
  3. Don't position the tree near a fire or radiator, or in the hottest room.
  4. Water regularly, trees can drink up to a pint a day.

Caring for your potted Christmas Tree

For rooted trees still in a pot.

  1. Choose a stand or bucket that allows you to water the tree.
  2. Don't position the tree near a fire or radiator, or in the hottest room.
  3. Water regularly, trees can drink up to a pint a day.

Ours withstood a warm room for over 4 weeks and still looks as fresh and beautiful. Will be back next year without a doubt.

Recycling your Christmas Tree

Christmas Trees can be recycled at the refuse sites around Gloucestershire.
Alternatively, buy a rooted tree and plant it in your garden to enjoy all year round.
